There
seems to be a huge outcry from a majority of men of not being able to find a “good
woman.” But the reality of the matter is that “good women” are not hard to
find, rather, we are just simply tired of being the good woman, so we lock ourselves away in our own world and build a wall
that no one can get through. Below are some of the things that may cause
us to do this.
We
are tired of giving one hundred and ninety percent, and not being able to get a
lousy 10% back in return. See, we don’t give to our significant other/spouses
just to say we are giving so that we can get something back in return, we give
because that is who we are, but our tanks need refilling so that we can keep
giving that one hundred and ninety percent to our mates. It’s like a bank
account, you can’t keep withdrawing and not depositing anything back into the
account; eventually all of the funds will be depleted and you will be left
broke.
We
are tired of men accusing us women that we don’t hold our mates down, when in
reality, it’s the men that are failing at holding us down. We are tired of
being the one holding our men down, going out to work a 9-5, then returning
home having to prepare dinner, while he sits at home all day without a 9-5. We
are tired of coming home to dishes in the sink, a messy home, especially when there
are no kids around, and to find our mates stuck in front of video games. We are
tired of being the sole breadwinner, the only one that is being considerate of
the other, and we are tired of being blamed for having an attitude which you
are the main contributor.
We
are tired of living in your funk, lack of good hygiene, your lies, your
excuses, and your anger over simple things!
We are
simply tired, so forgive us since we have decided to not make our year of 2015
anymore miserable than 2014 was while we were with you. It was time that you step
aside so that a real man could see our one hundred and ninety percent, and meet
us on the same level and more.
No,
we don’t hate you, we just hate the fact that you wasted our time, took us for
granted, and that we were stupid enough to keep falling for your lies, while hoping
for better. Our eyes are open now, and we can see the ray of sunshine. It
shines very brightly!
Thank
you for teaching us to never lose ourselves in another human being, as we did
before, and to never give up our happiness for someone who won’t even “cross a
puddle” for us.
Signed,
The
