Have you ever felt as if there just isn’t enough time in a
day to get done all that you need to get done?
My day starts with an early 90 minute workout at the gym,
and then its rush home to get ready for work. Sometimes, there just is not enough
time to prepare breakfast, and as they say, “breakfast is the most important
meal” of the day.
Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I
needed to think of something that was quick, delicious, and nutritious that I
could prepare and enjoy on my drive into work.
As a result, here is one of the smoothie recipes created by
trial and error which turned out pretty delicious. It’s quick, refreshing, and
oh so yummy! Once you have a sip, you just can’t stop.

Mahogany
Quick Smoothie:
½ Cup Frozen Pineapple Chunks
½ Cup Frozen Blueberries
½ Cup Frozen Diced Peaches
½ Cup Frozen Sliced Strawberries
1 ¾ Cups Water (or milk—I prefer the water or coconut water)
Add to your blender, Vitamix, or Nutri Bullet and pulverize until all fruits
have been dissolved. Serve and enjoy.
Some nutritional benefits (this is not an all-inclusive list of the

Pineapples: Pineapples are low in calories, good source of proteolytic
enzymes called bromelain which aids in food digestion and helps with reducing inflammation
associated with arthritis. It is also a good source of anti-cancer and
anti-inflammatory agents. Pineapples are packed with Vitamin C and B-Complex
vitamins.
Blueberries: Blueberries are packed with Vitamin C and
antioxidants and great for fighting colds.
Peaches: Peaches contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and
antioxidants, Vitamin B-6 and Vitamin E and K.
Strawberries: Strawberries are also packed with Vitamin C,
antioxidants, fiber, and serves as a great source for manganese and potassium.
