What Do You Bring To
The Table?
So,
you’re praying and wishing for a lifetime partner to meet all of your needs and
wants, but have you taken the time out to think about what you will bring to
the table?
What
would your answer be if you met your future life partner today and he or she
asked you this question?
Take
some time to think about that question, and be real with yourself. It will only
help you, later on.
What Real Women Want
Now,
as for a real woman as myself, let me share this truth with you. If all you
bring to the table is what's between your legs, you're not the man for me, nor
am I the woman for you. So, I'll have to respectfully decline your offer. I’m A
Better Me and will no longer settle for less than I deserve.
Give
me intellect, honesty, integrity, real genuine love, loyalty, and ambition and
I'll bring the same to the table.
I
may not have the body of a supermodel, but I have a heart of gold. I may not
have the face of an angel, but I am beautiful inside
and out. Yes, I'm "A Better Me."
I
can't go out to a 9 to 5 everyday working towards building an empire, while
your dream is to beat a video game. And I can't build an empire with someone
who is allergic to truth. So, again, I'll have to respectfully decline your
offer. I'm A Better Me and can no longer settle for less than I deserve.
Time for Change
I’ve
wasted enough time accepting less than I deserve, and it’s time that I change
that fruitless, unhealthy, non-beneficial habit. See, I’m not declining your
offer because I think that I am better than you or anyone else, but because I
refuse to continue accepting less than I deserve only to be left broken hearted
and tempted to be forced to develop a sour taste in my mouth for love, romance,
relationships, marriages, or even worse, hating the person that I accepted less
from.
My
declining of your offer is not to make you feel less worthy, but it is my way
of protecting the little hope that I have left for love and marriages. It is
also my way of helping you to not be the cause of another heartbreak, or one of love’s casualties. Plain and simple. That is what A Better Me is about,
today, tomorrow, and for the future.
A
Better Me is available on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback format.
