Mahogany Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

Every morning when I wake up for my work-out, I am always tempted to hit the snooze button on my alarm and go back to sleep, but I know that if I want to lose more weight, then I have to get up.

Also, one of the biggest motivations for me, is seeing the numbers drop each time I get on the scale. When I see those numbers keep dropping, then I know that what I am doing is working. And because I know that what I am doing is working, I tell myself “you gotta show up everyday if you want to get results and keep getting results.” I also apply that same concept to my business. I can’t expect the results that I want if I don’t show up and put in the work everyday.

When I show up and put in the work everyday, then I reward myself with the things that I enjoy and love. One of those is my Banana Cinnamon Smoothie. And though I was never a huge fan of bananas, I still do eat them because of the benefits they contain. It’s also very filling – have you ever eaten a banana right after an intensive work-out? I did, and mentioned it in my Mango Smoothie about how it helped me to get a second set of work-out in – it gives you a burst of energy out of this world, and is packed with potassium which aids in heart and muscle health.

When I am tired of the straight banana tastes, I throw them in a smoothie, and below is one of those smoothies. Once I started sipping, I could not stop – it just taste so good. Plus I enjoy it, and it has made me a banana lover.

I hope you will try it and let me know how you liked it.
